Welcome to a new book review! Come along to hear my thoughts and some background to Adalyn Grace’s All The Stars And Teeth.
Pirate, Princess, or Mermaid? Luckily they are all in this story. They all band together to help bring justice to the kingdom of Visidia who have been kept in the dark and lead astray by the king. With these leaders of the future the story follows them along their adventure to help turn the kingdom around and place a new ruler on the throne.
All The Stars And Teeth
In a broken kingdom were their ruling will soon be overturned, Amora must demonstrate the mastery of her magic. It’s not just any magic, soul magic is the most dangerous to wield out of all the islands in the kingdom of Visidia.
As Amora’s trial didn’t go as planed she is forced to run away. On her attempt to fle she runs into a pirate. Together they make a deal to take back his stolen power and take back their kingdom that has been so far gone.
“the world doesn’t only work with your eyes, Princess. There’s truth in more than what you can see.”
Getting into this book I appreciated that their was a lot of action. From the beginning there was a great taste of the adventure that would be going on. I mean who doesn’t love the great open ocean and traveling across the sea to save a kingdom.
As you learn more about the characters, it’s a great diverse cast. They have great compatibility and strengths in different areas. A very well rounded crew. Amora is the main character, but each individual that was brought in had their moment to shine and an important part to the story. Which I loved that it wasn’t solely focused around Amora and the other characters were left to the shadows.
By far this was not a romance novel. The spice level was about a one, but the tension build up between Amora and Bastian was great. I loved that you could tell they had chemistry from the beginning and their relationship continued to grow. I’m hopeful that their love expands and their is more into the next book between these two character!
If you are looking for a light hearted adventurous read I would say GO FOR IT. I can’t wait to get my hands on to the next one in this duology, All The Tides Of Fate.
