As midterms are finishing up and we are heading into finals within the next few months, it’s important to check up on ourselves. This time of year always equals more stress so it’s essential for us to get back in tune with ourselves to perform our best. Here are 4 ways to unwind and relax.
1. Read
I am a huge fan of reading and have been since I was a kid! I know reading is not always a fan favorite, but its all about finding something that is of interest to you. There are limits when it comes to reading and it is one of my favorite ways to escape the screens and unwind.

2. Spa Night
Nothing is more refreshing than when you take the extra time to really take care of yourself. Draw yourself a nice hot bath or take a steam shower. Do a face mask, paint your nails, and give your bod that extra tlc.
3. Draw
One of my favorite ways to relax is to draw. I like to draw on my ipad but also have several “adult” coloring books that I love. It’s something that is so easy and mindless. Turn on your favorite tunes and color your heart out!
4. Get Up & Move
It’s easy to get caught up in the school work and we forget to get up and move our bodies. Trust me, take a break, get up and move! You will feel better and it will give your mind a second to clear itself and relax.

I hope this provided you with some ideas on how to unwind and relax after some of these stressful days and weeks! Keep powering through, it will all work out in the end.
Happy Relaxing
