Frost Like Night
In an epic finale to finally save all the kingdoms from evil, one last battle occurs as a final resort. “Meira, Mather, and Ceridwen must bring the kingdoms together… or lose everything.” This last book really brings you to the edge of your seat. After the previous book, Ice Like Fire, leaving you on a cliff hanger Frost Like Night jumps right into the ciaos and excitement of the challenges ahead. Meira, Mather, and Ceridwen face the ultimate challenge in a push for a better world.
From the beginning, Meira’s character has been awesome! Meira truly is the definition of a strong and independent women all while being authentic and working to discover herself along with her needs and desires. Even up until the end her character worked to continuously grow and flourish. The character development that Meira has had throughout all the books is the best I have ever read!
Meira’s best friend and love interest Mather is so stinkin cute. He is so devoted to her and is willing to fix all his mistakes of the past. In that sense, from his perspective in the book we were able to learn about his thoughts and regrets, it was amazing to see how he owned up to his actions in this book.
This book introduced a new character named Rares. Rares is such a knowledgeable character and provides so much useful insight and guidance. He was the father figure that Meira was lacking and the guiding light that helped Meira reach her goals. Rares was such an important character in the storyline of this book and I adore how much Meira was able to learn from him and his wife to aid her in character development.
WOW WOW WOW! What can I say besides this was an epic finale to a great trilogy. After coming off a slow read from the second book in this trilogy, Ice Like Fire, this book, Frost Like Night, was so refreshing to have the same speed and excitement as the first book. A beautiful and continuously developing story line that ends with pure happiness and joy. I truly felt so fulfilled and happy by the ending of this book, I was sad for it to have come to a conclusion. Sarah did a fantastic job fulfilling all the hopes and desires that I was hoping for from the beginning. That tiny bit of romance that was lacking from the other books was finally fulfilled and left me over joyed for the characters. This book really took you through all the emotions. At times I had this great big smile on my face, while others I was close to tears. Thank you Sarah for creating this master piece of finding yourself while fighting for what you believe in. I feel that it this is such a strong message that is carried throughout all the books in the trilogy.
I’m sad to think this series is over but I 100% recommend reading the trilogy. Frost Like Night is by far my favorite!
