Wow! Feels like a long time since I have written a blog post… in reality I think it has been like a week. Oh well! How have you been? I hope your answer is nothing shy of amazing. If not, maybe this blog post can bring so blyss to you! Today I will be sharing my ultimate spring bucket list. Being short and simple these are some fun ideas that I hope to accomplish this spring!
What’s super exciting about this post is that I am collabing with Patrycja Wanat! After reading this post head over to Patrycja’s blog to see her epic bucket list!
Spring Bucket List
Who doesn’t love a good shopping spree and wardrobe refresh? I am obsessing over the fun bright colors that have hit the store this spring. My favorite spring color, that is all over right now, is lilac. Spring and summer colors are vibrant, fun, and energetic. Of course, I want some staple pieces that represent that. I would say this is at the top of the bucket list! Stay tuned for a little clothing haul for when I do check this off my list.
Going on a picnic sounds like such a fun idea to me! I am not sure if it’s because I keep seeing all the beautiful Pinterest picnics or what, but it has me motivated! The picnic I envision in my head would be amazing and of course I would document it! This leads me into my next bucket list task…
I am a sucker for a good photoshoot. Photoshoots are a fun and simple way to get out and about, make some memories, and most of the time are fairly inexpensive. Plus, going on a shopping spree requires some fire photos in the new outfits! Shoutout to my mom, she is my amazing designated photographer. Speaking of mom’s… its almost mothers day. A little bonus activity could be to go have a fun photoshoot with your mom!
Watch the Sunset
If you have been keeping up with my Instagram then you definitely know I have been a sunset chaser recently. Florida has some beautiful sunsets and I can’t help but go watch the day end on a beautiful note. Something about watching the sunset is so calming and brings a sense of gratitude. Besides being able to watch the beauty of our world it is another great photoshoot opportunity.
Go to the Beach
Living in the Florida heat you are either in the ocean, the air conditioning, or the pool. There is no in between… it gets sooooo humid! If you can’t tell I hate the humidity which is the perfect excuse to go to the beach and get outside. Soak up some rays, read a good book, and spend some time with friends or family. Sounds like a plan to me!
I love spending time with the people I care about and am a sucker for soaking in the moment and making memories. Having a brunch date with friends or family would be such a fun activity to get to spend time with others. A spin off of this idea would be to have an at home brunch extravaganza! Make some delicious brunch from scratch. I can already taste it, some scrumptious eggs and delicious pancakes… YUM!
At Home Manicure
Recently, I have been working to perfect my nail painting and design abilities. I want to continue that training and try out a new nail design that is very spring chic. This would also be a super fun activity to do with friends and make it into a spa night. Facials, mani pedi, self care galore!
I love to do DIY projects! I was that little girl who went home after school and watched youtube videos of all the DIY projects out there. Being crafty and creative is one of my favorite hobbies. I don’t have a specific DIY project in mind but I will definitely share when I accomplish one.
Find A New Coffee Shop
This has been an idea of mine for a while but I haven’t committed to it yet. I really want to go find a local coffee shop that I can support. Especially in COVID times it is so important to support local small business. Again, cute coffee shops are a great content spot for that photoshoot on the list.
Donate Clothing / Spring Cleaning
Not as fun of an activity on the bucket list but most of the time necessary. On the other hand, it is such a great feeling to know you have accomplish this task. Getting to declutter and have that sense that you were able to part with some things is refreshing. Also, being able to donate or sell clothes is a great way for others to repurpose it and give these pieces another life with someone else!
If you followed along on my reading binge over spring break then you definitely know I have a large list of books waiting. Be expecting a separate post with my summer reading up next list. I hope to finish the rest of the book I have been reading and move on to the last book in the series. Currently, I have been reading “Ice Like Fire” by Sara Raasch. If you are interested in my book review for the first book in this series, “Snow Like Ashes” you can read the post HERE!
Try A New Recipe
I am always so inspired by all the food Instagram posts that I see! Therefore, I want to make and test out some new recipes this spring. Some of recipes I will be looking to try is anything dessert related. Healthy brownies or ice cream sounds great! I also want to experiment with some quick and easy recipes for college.
I hope this spring bucket list inspires you to have some fun this spring! Don’t forget to go check out Patrycja’s bucket list. If you do any of these ideas this spring I would love to see! You can follow along with my bucket list progress on my Instagram.
